Melba Seto, owner of Bowness Soapworks and Seto Pottery has been a champion for small businesses and the Calgary Community since she started in 2020.
Through Bowness Soapworks she has been able to give back to the community in ways she was not able to before working in health care. She supports dozens of local non profits, and regularly donates to CKUA, Woods Homes, Adventure 4 Wild, Alberta White Association, TABVAR (The Alberta Bow Valley Area Rock Climbers) and more.
She believes that’s it’s not a competition when it’s small business and champions the growth and necessity of family owned businesses in her community.
