What do you do in your daily lives that engage in meditative thought? Soap cutting is very therapeutic for many reasons. 1️⃣The aromatherapy from the 100% essential oils that get released from the process. 2️⃣ The repetitive tasks of peeling, scraping, cutting. 3️⃣ The sounds of the wood contacting the wood as I push the soap through the cutter 4️⃣ The methodical stacking of each bar. 5️⃣ The moments taken to admire and dissect the designs in the swirling soap patterns. Contrary to popular belief I have a very introverted personality. I grew up spending hours by myself, learning how to create, design, make and break. I am MOST at home with tasks like this and it balances the chaos of everyday life and things we sometimes we feel we cannot change.
